Simone Biles

Simone Biles, American gymnast (born 14 March 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) She was regarded as one of sport's best athletes. The 2016 Olympics were held at Rio de Janeiro and Biles became one of the U.S.'s the first gymnast of female gender to earn 4 gold medals. She also claimed the world title for all-around 3 times in succession (2013-15). Biles lived at Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan area following the time she and her sister Adria were adopted by their parents Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone was first introduced to the sport by her teacher at daycare Aimee Borman when she was just six years old. She stayed at Bannon's Gymnastix for eleven years. Biles achieved a silver medal at vault in 2010 and a bronze medal at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. Then she moved on to the level of elite competition in 2011. In just two short years, she became the most successful athlete in her discipline. Biles was notable for her consistent performance, exuberant personality as well as the difficulty she encountered at the four events she competed in including vaulting, uneven bars and the balance beam.
