Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was raised in an ethnically diverse family. She is English as well as her father is Nigerian. She grew up in the south of a London council estate, and went to The Brit School at age 14. At the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art was where she received a BA degree in acting. While attending the academy, she appeared in several stage productions such as The King Henry V playing Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe's acting career began with Storm Damage. In the years since, she's appeared as a guest for Teachers, Doctors, Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's first film appearance was Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), opposite Colin Farrell. The following year she portrayed Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally she was a part of Trexx as Ollie and six episodes in Flipside. In 2008, she was offered the Bambi part on the ITV2 Drama The Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Secret Diary of a Call Girl. She appeared in both series 2 and 3. Madekwe was the main character in How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others. The comedy that was released in 2008. She was also on the screen in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path, directed by David Watson.
Madekwe debuted in the US with The Beautiful Life. The drama series was telecast at The CW for only two episodes before being removed from the air. Ashley Davenport was her role in ABC's drama Revenge. Madekwe starred as a regular character on the ABC drama series Revenge in two episodes. In May 2013 that she would be leaving the series following one guest appearance on the initial series of the 3rd. From 2014-2016, Madekwe starred in the role of Tituba on the show Salem. Madekwe, her longtime partner, Iddo, married Madekwe in June 2012. They collaborated on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Goldberg also appeared with her on Salem.

Ashley Leggat, a twice Gemini nominated actress, was raised in a huge family living in Hamilton, Ontario. The four brothers she had were also present and included twins Todd and Bram, Brett & Rob. The brothers of Ashley were extremely athletic, and they played baseball as well as hockey in the winter as well as in the summer. Her childhood was spent in baseball and arenas. Ashley couldn't walk, however she danced. This led to the fact that as she grew older, she discovered Baby Ballet. That was the start of Ashley's love for dancing. Ashley participated in the top divisions in jazz, tap hip-hop, ballet Acrobatics, Lyrical Musical Theatre and pointe, until she finished high school. She won the top individualist in all the major dance competitions including, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 5-6-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance just to mention a few.
