Angela Gossow Urach

Angela Gossow grew up in Cologne with three other siblings. She was 17 when her parents split up. The company they owned failed and caused further financial problems. Bulimia and anorexic eating added to her woes. Gossow has stated that there's an appropriate time and location for everything to be done when it comes to her decision to step down from ARCH ENEMY as its artist. In 1991, I began my journey. The joy of living in the open road had diminished. In order to avoid pretending I stepped down. The band was originally fronted by Johan Liiva who was replaced by German singer Angela Gossow in 2000.
